what is electro mechanical engineering? | Yahoo Answers

I am not sure (different schools may defined it differently), but based on my background in mechanical engineering, that it has to do with a combination of the electrical and mechanical elements in a mechanism, such as the joint actuators in a robot. For all practical purposes, if you are going to build a machine and not just a structure, you have to have both sets of skills.
